Project “Strengthening of capacities to for local housing policy implementation and management of the newly formed local housing agencies” has provided basic and specific knowledge in the field of social housing, local housing policy and housing policy management at the local level through existing specialized housing agencies.

Local housing agencies in Zrenjanin, Zaječar, Novi Sad and Smederevska Palanka were the participnts in this training project. During the project there were conducted 5 trainings and a study tour (to Kragujevac) in which employed in the local housing agencies and local governments have acquired theoretical and practical knowledge for formulation and implementation of local housing policies and specific activities related to the management of users and assets, as well as knowledge about the non-profit housing organizations and organizational requirements of the local housing agency, achieved and enhanced mutual cooperation and experiences exchange. 

Technical support realized through this project supports the application of legislative and reform documents in this field and systematic development of social housing in Serbia.
